4. The text compares the woodcuts by Albrecht Dürer and Hans Burgkmair; which of the two woodcuts do you prefer and why?
Between the two woodcuts by Albrecht Dürer and Hans Burgkmair, I prefer the woodcut by Albrecht Dürer. Albrecht woodcut illustrated precisely outline the noteworthy quality of physical elaborative details and more polished than Hans Burgkmair. The rhinoceros displayed is very distinctive and captivating with the particular markings. Even if Albrecht hasn't witnessed the rhinoceros in person, nonetheless he was able to encapsulate the true innate nature of the creature. The feature of the technique of the scaly legs and toes was very effective. The fold of the skin was carefully designed with the robust heavy horned. The facial feature and the stupendous horn contribute to his position.
Hans Burgkmair, Rhinoceros, woodcut, 1515
7. Which depiction of the rhinoceros did you find to be the most amusing, and why?
Other than Albrecht Dürer woodcut, I find Hans Burgkmair depiction of the rhinoceros to be the most amusing because it's quite detailed but, simple in design considerably compare to Albrecht. The feature is impressive in establishing the rhinoceros character. Hans embellishes his design by including the rope and chain but, the scenery is very similar.
