Reflection:
After creating this two-part assignment I feel rather quite contrasting. I decided to use Jeff Bezos for this assignment. On Part A of the portrait, I acquired knowledgeable feedback on the technical inaccuracy. I decided to use a black sharpie to clarify the demeanor of his sharpness as a businessman. I had difficulties deciphering the tint of shadows and placement of the background. On Part B of the propaganda, I felt I manage to grasp the concept finer. In this piece, I displayed Jeff Bezos is egocentric driven him into the insanity of the substantial load of the destruction of stores and people losing their jobs. In the piece, I place an Amazon package to serve as a representation of the success of Amazon gleefully mocking to replacing the store. Also, I chose the color choices of gold and green to symbolize his stature of being rich and becomes senseless to what he is doing. I feel the text is hidden and is very unclear to the viewer. I need to work on making the focal point on the piece readable as the frontal view so, it doesn't become lost. I have a tendency to over complicate the piece that it becomes overwhelming. Also, I need to retouch a few areas by lightening some areas. Overall, I effectively learned to progress with the feedback I obtain to correct my mistakes in future works.

Topic One: The Tough Question- Third Assignment: Open Project  Title: Life's Patches    Christina Bernadotte, 2018 (22 x 24 in.) Summary:      For the open project assignment, I created a piece called "Life's Patches". This piece symbolizes my path, present, and future goals that I have accomplished or will accomplish. I wanted to represent something not necessarily unfinished, but rather something to be discovered. I feel my life revolves around my personal blanket as we grow more opportunities will be given that will be stitched into my blanket. Topic Two: Pattern and Ornaments - In-class exercises (Directed Drawings: three & 2D-3D translation); Replicating my classmate's 3D Model In-class exercises #1 The in-class exercise was complex and I try to understand the angles and measurements of the lines. In-class exercises #2 In-class exercise #2 it resembles a smiley face with one eye winking but, I know the size of the hexagon is rather large when it should be quite smaller.  In-class exercises #3 I really took delight in-class exercise #3 because I was able to create a design where we try to study your movements without any verbal directions.  The 2D-to-3D translation I decided to create a 3D model for in-class exercise #1.
